Over 500 professionals from across Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, and North America participated in our introductory course on Engaged Thinking. The response was very positive from participants with the outcome new leadership and Engaged Thinking strategy development.
Design Thinking
Mid to senior management professionals participated in a virtual design thinking exercise. Participants used various design thinking strategies with the objective of developing consumer apps driving health driven nutrition and engagement for the purpose of disease management.
Designing for Health Innovation
Engaging the Patient for Self Management and Health Literacy
Engagement of a public, patient facing engagement agency to enable patient health literacy and self-management. Engagement opportunities included the development of a focus group to assess and re-design the patient diagnosis journey, the design of symptom management and treatment regimen guides, the assessment of patient equity in healthcare access, the development of cultural competencies for healthcare stakeholders, the evaluation of patient training modules for self-management.
Designing for Sustainability
Change Management
Mid to senior management professionals participated in a change management simulation with a focus on driving a sustainability change management initiative. The initiative sought to change inputs for sustainable product development and to address environmental waste issues. Participants used a variety of strategies to enable buy-in for the green initiative.
Driving Innovation Through Biomimicry
Mid to senior management professionals evaluated and then leveraged the Principles of Biomimicry and the Principles of Designing for the Environment to prescribe new product re-design strategies.
The Value of the Life Cycle Assessment
Mid to senior management professionals conducted a streamlined life cycle assessment. Participants conducted an analysis across organization value chains to determine inputs and outputs, to suggest opportunities for value chain or supply chain re-design, and to examine opportunities to exploit the circular economy.
Sustainable Living Inventory
Participants conducted a sustainable living inventory with a focus on household product usage. Having conducted a chemical audit, participants suggested other eco-friendly/green options for household usage and discussed engagement as well as behavioural changes needed to support sustainable living.
